Plastic Surgery Services Patient Testimonials

Reconstructive Surgery

"While I was at work, my hand was caught in a conveyor belt. Dr. Rollins performed reconstructive surgery on my hand. It has been about five months since the accident and I still undergo physical therapy. My hand is moving pretty well. It is a long process, but I'm getting stronger. Dr. Rollins did a fantastic job! The Conemaugh Physician Group - Plastic Surgery team is wonderful. The surgeons have fantastic skill and are extremely talented."

"I had a double mastectomy due to cancer. I was still undergoing chemotherapy and dealing with issues in my personal life. Dr. Rollins worked around my personal schedule to create a timeframe for my reconstructive breast surgery. He and his staff were very supportive and explained the procedure and after care. The biggest thing for me was feeling normal again. I'm very happy with the results."

Cosmetic Surgery

"I had gastric bypass surgery several years ago and was left with large amounts of excess skin on my stomach. I was happy with the results of the surgery, but after dealing with the excess skin for years I finally said 'enough is enough'. Dr. Shayesteh performed my cosmetic tummy tuck. He and his staff are wonderful, pleasant, and answered all of my questions until I felt comfortable. I wish I would have done it sooner. I waited too long to feel better like I do now."

Emergency Surgery

"My 10-year-old daughter was hurt in an accident with a glass door which severed the nerve and tendon in her little finger. She was taken to the emergency room and met with Dr. Shayesteh a few days later. My daughter was terrified when going to the hospital, but during the three month recovery period she looked forward to seeing Dr. Shayesteh. She went to checkups six to eight times and regained 100% feeling in her finger with complete use. Dr. Shayesteh is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and provided excellent bedside care. Go to Dr. Shayesteh, don't even hesitate."

"My daughter was in an accident over the Labor Day Holiday weekend.  Dr. Shayesteh made sure that we got an appointment in the office that Tuesday afternoon. He is great with children.  He is a very loving, caring person who has so much compassion which helped to ease my daughter’s anxiety.  My daughter was three years old at the time; she was scared.  Not to mention, I was an emotional train wreck.  Dr. Shayesteh calmed all our fears.   My daughter got a little prize every time she came to the office and lots of lollipops.  The injury was definitely a bad experience but was compensated by his great care.  Dr. Shayesteh was not sure if surgery would be needed; he suggested waiting to see how things healed. This eliminated the need for surgery. If I was concerned with anything, I could call or see him twice a week, if needed.  My daughter adored Dr. Shayesteh and was upset when her hand healed and we didn’t need to go back any more. I can’t say enough about Dr. Shayesteh and the staff. They answered all our questions and treated us like we were the only patient they had to take care of."
