Cardiac rehabilitation services are offered at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center by healthcare professionals trained in cardiac rehabilitation therapies. Cardiac rehabilitation programs are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

The medically-supervised programs focus on education, prevention, exercise, stress reduction, weight management, and emotional support to help patients minimize the effects of heart disease and reduce the risk of heart problems. Treatment can begin in the hospital following a heart event, or after discharge. After completing the program, 95% of patients are eligible return to work. Each year, more than 4,000 heart patients achieve their heart-healthy objectives through Conemaugh Health System's cardiac rehabilitation programs.
