New Orthopedic Surgeon to practice at Conemaugh Memorial

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center announced that Dr. Jacob Budny, D.O., has joined the medical staff and will be offering orthopedic surgery services to patients throughout the region. Dr. Budny will be providing knee and hip surgery to patients at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center including minimally invasive techniques such as the anterior approach for hip replacement surgery.

A graduate of the University of Rochester, New York, Dr. Budny completed his medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. He then completed an Orthopedic Residency at the University of Buffalo Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as well as a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to his work in knee and hip replacements, Dr. Budny is trained in knee arthroscopy and also has great interest and experience in handling complex knee and hip revisions.

Dr. Budny and his wife recently moved to the Geistown section of Johnstown and are looking forward to being closer to family in the Duncansville area of Blair County.
