Dr. Courtney Cuppett, a board certified, fellowship trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist is now with Conemaugh Physician Group - OB/GYN and joining Dr. Adib Khouzami in providing care to families facing high risk pregnancies.
A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Cuppett is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, also called perinatologists, specialize in high risk pregnancies, helping expectant mothers with chronic health problems and unexpected challenges that develop during pregnancy. “It is a great privilege to help women through atypical pregnancies,” says Dr. Cuppett. “So much can now be done to help women with underlying medical conditions have successful pregnancies. It is a very rewarding field.”
“We are really glad to have Dr. Cuppett join our team,” says Dr. Adib Khouzami, Chairman of Conemaugh’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. “She brings great experience and training and will help us meet the needs of families facing complicated pregnancies.”
Dr. Cuppett is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Cuppett and her husband have three children, ages 7, 3, and 5 months.
