Conemaugh’s School of Nursing Program has been ranked as the 10th best RN Program in Pennsylvania by RegisteredNursing.org.
RegisteredNursing.org, a research website dedicated to guiding future nurses in their career paths, surveyed 76 total Pennsylvania schools offering a Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing, Bachelors in Nursing, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree. The ranking process involves averaging a program’s NCLEX-RN pass rates from the past 5 years, weighting the most recent year’s exam data. Other factors include the number of students taking the exam and the amount of exam data available.
“We are very proud of this recognition,” says Dr. Lisa Devineni PhD, MSN, CRNP, NP-C, Director of Conemaugh’s School of Nursing and Education Programs. “The Conemaugh School of Nursing has been educating nurses for more than 100 years and our exam pass rates are something we pride ourselves on.”
Conemaugh’s School of Nursing is a two-year accredited program approved by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing. The program offers low student-to-faculty ratios, nearly 1000 hours of clinical practicum and a unique clinical experience which includes working with staff in Conemaugh’s Level One Regional Resource Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery and Primary Stroke Center.
