Through our Youth Trauma Prevention Program, we hope to prevent traumatic injuries from occurring - whether from a sport related or recreational event - in children of all ages.

Our multi level approach of prevention through treatment provides a continuum of caring in the unfortunate event of a traumatic injury to a child. Trauma prevention for our youth is an ongoing effort for our trauma team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. As the only Level One Trauma Resource Center between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, our resources are the key to keeping our young people safe.

Watch this music video by Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban -- a reminder to drivers everywhere that distracted driving often results in trauma.

Prevention Education Saves Lives
The Conemaugh Health Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to securing gifts and grants to further the medical, educational, scientific and charitable purposes of our entire System. Prevention programs have been supported through Student Philanthropy, community fundraising, and grants.
