Upon completion of the Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, pharmacists will enter practice as competent and confident practitioners, with the knowledge and clinical skills needed for continuous professional growth. The one-year program offers extensive learning opportunities in a wide range of clinical settings.

Required and elective rotations, instruction in evidenced-based medicine and individualized faculty-student interaction combine to offer residents a well-rounded experience that strengthens clinical skills and prepares them for their next career step. Residents can also access the resources of distinguished academic organizations through our affiliations and faculty positions with Ohio Northern University, University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.
