Conemaugh Health System and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine - Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution (OPTI) is proud to announce the expansion of their excellence in patient care with the creation of the Conemaugh Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Fellowship. This two-year program will allow Emergency Medicine physicians to further their education and earn a Certificate of Added Qualification in EMS offered by the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.
The Conemaugh EMS Fellowship is based at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, the premier level 1 trauma center serving Johnstown, PA and the surrounding counties. Conemaugh services an emergency volume over 70,000 patients a year and is comparable to major urban center programs.
The Conemaugh EMS Fellow will participate intimately with the paid and volunteer EMS, Fire, Police, and County resources that service the Laurel Highlands.
